Product Description
Reese part # 30143 is a fifth wheel hitch designed to pull RV campers using a long bed pickup truck that has been equipped with an Elite Series rail kit. It is rated to handle trailers up to 25,000lbs with 6,250lbs of tongue weight. Elite Series 5th wheel hitches have oversize head for a more stabile connection between the hitch and king pin on the trailer. It has four degrees of size to side pivot for improved ride quality and to make hooking up on uneven ground easier. The Elite Series hitch has an improved single forged self latching jaw that automatically locks on and reduces the wear and rattles. The funnel area was widened out to 9 inches which makes guiding the king pin into the hitch much easier. Elite Series hitches attach to four mounting points under the truck so when removed nothing is blocking access to the inside of the truck bed. Reese includes a 7-pin RV style plug with a 9' lead and quick connect wiring harness that plug right into the factor wiring with no cutting or splicing necessary.
